A Grand day out

After my near shock at the doctors, we went to Ludlow, a mediaeval town, not far from us.
We went into a lovely tearoom called DEGREYS, where the waitresses wore black uniforms and white aprons. We only had tea and toast but it was served as if it were a banquet. The tea (complete with teastrainer) was in white crockery, the sugar: little cubes with tongs. Even the bill came folded on a saucer.
A real treat I can tell you.
